As a swimming teaching company we are able to deliver school swimming lessons as part of your school’s curriculum provision. The Swimming Nature for schools programme has been designed to ensure that children are achieving the National Curriculum requirements in their formative years.

Many of our pupils go on to swim for their school team or at county/club level.

Our fully trained and qualified teachers will assess, teach and coach groups of children according to physical skills and sporting abilities so that each child reaches his/her potential in the pool.

Swimming Nature for Schools gets children swimming by teaching the basics of underwater waving, floating and kicking in a fun inter-active lesson, aiming to build the Childs’ confidence and water skills that lead to them being capable back-stroke swimmers at an early age.

Once children can swim we move on to teach them the full backstroke, front crawl and breaststroke in a gradual and progressive programme aimed at building stamina and improving flexibility, speed , timing and rhythm. You will be amazed at what your pupils are able to achieve in the water!

The lessons are accompanied by a badge scheme and/or a Progression Book with Stickers. These are available for schools to purchase for pupils, and help motivate the child to achieve their best in the classes.

We can provide teachers at any of our public centres, allowing the school to book the pool, whilst Swimming Nature provides the lessons. We provide cost effective classes with a fully backed up service of monitoring pupils, including a replacement instructor in case of absence.

We are able to provide classes for children from the age of 4 years to 15 years. We keep our pupil to teacher ratio as low possible, so that each pupil in the class benefits from direct individual interaction with the swimming instructor at some point in the lesson. Lessons are usually 30 minutes or 60 minutes in duration.

Alternatively, if you have a school swimming pool we are able to send teachers to your facility to conduct the classes on site. A higher fee per hour will be charged depending on time and distance from the employees place of work.
