Since we started, over two decades ago, we've helped almost half a million new swimmers. We're now the largest independent provider of swimming tuition in the UK and, understandably, we're proud of that. The secret? It's simple really. We help people to understand, right from the very start, that water is friend and not foe. Before we teach a single stroke, we teach people to float. By doing this we know that all of our students will feel confident and relaxed in the water, each and every time they dive in.
From there, everything else flows. We can teach the correct mechanics of each of the four recognised strokes, without fear or frustration. No doggy paddle or armbands here! Our adult swim programme also includes techniques from the Shaw Method; a proven way of achieving optimal body alignment in the water. Really, it's swimming, made easy.

To run your own business with Swimming Nature, you need to be excited by the idea of helping people to have fun in the water. You'll be passionate about working with children and be motivated by making a difference. You'll also need to have plenty of patience!
It's likely that you'll already be an experienced swim instructor, although that isn't essential. If you don't have a swimming qualification, we can help enrol you on the necessary ASA instructors programme before you start your Swimming Nature business. Qualifying as an instructor can take as little as two weeks.
Alternatively, since there is a choice of operating models, you could decide to employ other qualified instructors to deliver your lessons, while you stay out of the pool and focus on growing your business.

After you have registered your interest, we'll send you our Business Opportunity Information Pack giving more details. Then we'll have an initial phone conversation to see if this sounds like the right concept for you.
If it feels like there is a good fit between your aims and the Swimming Nature offer, then we'll arrange an informal meeting. This will be a chance to learn more about each other, discuss the business models in more detail and meet some of our team.
Having had time to consider the opportunity further, we'll arrange a second meeting to discuss the potential of your area and, if both parties agree, then secure the territory with a deposit. You will get guidance on creating a business plan and we'll give you a Business Agreement to review.
Decision time! At this meeting, we'll review your business plan and go over any outstanding queries. If the business plan is approved, you have funding in place and want to go ahead and make the commitment to your new business, we'll then sign the Agreement and take full payment of the relevant joining fees. Welcome to the team!
Once you have signed up, we'll book you in for business training and help you get ready to launch your new business. Exciting stuff!
