Using the Swimming Nature method requires instructors to be knowledgeable and experienced swimmers themselves. Many of our teachers have stood on the podium or have competed themselves and others come from a sports science or biomechanics background.

We put an enormous emphasis on training, ensuring that all of our instructors complete the Swimming Nature Foundation Course, where the principles of the method and programmes are taught. Furthermore, they are required to compete fifteen hours of supervised on the job training with a Mentor to ensure that they are applying the methods to their pupils correctly.

Teaching babies, children and adults to gain confidence and learn to swim is a sensitive matter. That's why our teachers are qualified and hold either ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) or STA (Swimming Teachers' Association) qualifications and have attended the Swimming Nature Foundation Course.

Each has a recognized life-saving qualification, that we update every 2 years and have a CRB Enhanced Disclosure.

We hand-pick and select teachers who have a great understanding of children and people, love swimming and patience in bucket-loads! This will help you or your child to relax and learn in an unpressurised environment, wanting to come back for more each week.

All our teachers are excellent swimmers and can demonstrate or "show-off" their skills in the pool! They all wear our wetsuit uniform as they will be in the water for most of the lesson, and enjoy playing the part of Speedy Ray our super-hero!
